Scary feeling @ 4 this morning
**I also posted this on FB so forgive me.
At 4 this morning I was awoken from a dead sleep smelling smoke in our house. I woke DH and we raced around the house trying to see if something was on fire. Thankfully our house was not, but unfortunately the house down the street from us was. From what I heard their roof was struck by lightening and a corner of the roof caught on fire. It didn't seem like the rest of their house affected. Of course I couldn't go back to sleep because the smell of the smoke was pretty strong. DH had no problem sleeping though.
Re: Scary feeling @ 4 this morning
I guess it's a perk for being such a light sleeper.
Holy smokes (sorry had to do it :0)!!! Glad ya'll were ok!
