hotel in old town sandiego 75.00 any ideas
wanting a nice hotel...we will be doing alot of site seeing...not needing to spend alot on hotel..but still want nice clean hotel in old town sandiego or mission bay area..seaworld ..sandiego zoo

Have you tried Priceline? I don't think you'll find many hotels in that price range. Especially in those areas.
The cheapest area for hotels is going to be Hotel Circle in Mission Valley - but even there, I think it may be difficult to find something for $75.
Yup, check the discount sites. We have gotten the Hilton San Diego (a long walk from Old Town) for $50-$100 on a busy summer weekend, but that would be the cheapest. We once got a Travelzoo deal for $120 on the Se (very, very nice in Old Town). Also try Jetsetter- they sometimes have nice hotels in San Diego for $100ish. If you're just looking for a clean safe place to crash I had friends who stayed at the Hostel in the heart of Old Town for $50 a night. They were happy with it.
