Re: kernal
Aw, thanks. I've missed you guys!
I had to take a break but I'm going to try to come back. Just dealing with a lot with the MIL and FIL drinking situation. We no longer speak to MIL. It's almost a nice relief. SIL and her 2 yr old son moved out of their house and in with us for the time being. Binny is scared of the 2 yr old so she's growled and barked at him a few times. Thats been a blast. There is a light at the end of the tunnel though. SIL is buying a house and will hopefully be moved in by mid July!

I third this. And, I'm really sorry about the family stuff, but it sounds like you have set boundaries (which is good). I've missed seeing pictures of Binny...2 year olds can be a bit much for the pups on occasion!
I'll have to dig out a pic of her to post. I haven't taken much lately with everything going on but I have a few
Really hoping she isn't like this if we ever decide to have our own kids!

Its different if the child stats out small and harmless nd grows into a two year old.
Ditto this. My dogs are great with Emma. But they are still wary of other kids and I'm hesitant with my one dog with any kids...but I know he wouldn't lay a paw or tooth on Emma. He is protective of her.
Thanks, everyone! I'm really looking forward to July when we can have our house back and DH and I can focus on our own lives.
Also glad to hear that about everyone's animals. I will keep my fingers crossed that Binny behaves the same way and will be protective of our kids like she is of us. Here she is hanging out with her tongue out, as usual! (sorry if this ends up being huge..i have no clue how to shrink it)

glad to hear you guys are making changes. my mil situation is still in a drastic downward spiral. at least dh has admitted she needs help- that is a huge step.
good luck with everything!
We should talk. Your DH sounds like he could probably be best friends with my DH.
