Best Cooling Products for Dogs
I have a French Bulldog and she gets really hot in the summer (which is very typical for the breed).
I am trying to research a cooling pad/collar for her to use in the summer. I can't decide if the gel packs or the ice packs are better.
Anyone have one that they love? I just keep reading mixed reviews and I need some insight.
Thanks!
Re: Best Cooling Products for Dogs
I have the large blue cooling bed. My bulldog doesnt use it..ever. She would rather lay on the cool tile floor in the bathroom than the cooling bed. Its filled with water, and i didnt think its very effective. It was a waste of my $.
Sorry to discourage you, but I hope that helps
We have 2 of the large Precision Pet Cooling mats. I like them because they are pressure activated and there is no water or plugs necessary. I also like that they fold up nicely and are easy to store.
Our American Bulldog loves them. Our lab (who I bought it for last summer) lays on it when we put him on it. He is 13 and likes laying in the hall in front of a fan. I did get them for a great deal at our local humane society last summer. I am not going to lie, I have sat on it and they are awesome.
