Quicken Loans?

Anyone have any experience with them and would you recommend them?Hubby and i got pre-approved through them. I have had family members use them with no problem...but i have read a lot of negative reviews.

Re: Quicken Loans?

  • I did not use them for my mortgage but I have seen people on the forums that absolutely loved them and then others having issues.  Not a super helpful post but I think I saw more positive than bad.  I think a lot of us get frustrated with the mortgage companies that we choose because it can be a very frustrating process.

Ok, fist, my dad used them twice without issue.

Us? Well, we were lied to from the get-go which postponed our closing date a month from our first one. There were many headaches, but I attribute it to one guy named Graham. <-- turns out that he had only been a broker for 4 months. His lies caused many, many problems.

Everyone else I worked with has been fine, although cheesy. They say things often like, "that's a good question." "Thank you for your candid feedback." They say them over and over.

They communicate very well and even have an online thing so you can upload docs and keep track of your loan, which I really liked.

Aside of the awful Graham, everything was ok with them. Although they did tell us that our origination charges were going to be zero, but then they somehow went to $1400. <-- again, Graham.
