A year and a half of marriage...
And DH didn't know my name was really hyphenated. WTF? He thought I had all five names, but had no idea about the hyphen. He finally found out because I was complaining about the hyphen, and I'm not sure they'll be able to get all of my name on my license (still haven't changed it, but have to before we fly to Disney because the ILs put me down as First Husbandlast, which isn't on my license).
Totally stressed out about having to do the DMV tomorrow and straighten it out.

Re: A year and a half of marriage...
Ugh! This is what happened to me. I brought my SS card, and they said they needed my marriage certificate. I'm like, "Um, I couldn't have changed my name with the SS office without a marriage certificate!" Obnoxious.
REEVE!!! You have been MIA lately. Good to see you back here
?
BB, going ot the DMV is a pain in the ass. Good luck!?
Ha, well that makes it better.
And ditto Dev! Don't go MIA again!!
?
The NY DMV didn't need my SS card to change my name. ?The DMV also let me make my maiden name my middle name and the jerk on a power trip at the SS office wouldn't let me change my middle name.
But in NY it takes 2 weeks to get your Driver's License.
Also, I'm fully convinced that the best NY SS office is in the Bronx.
I'm jealous. ?It took NYS 3 1/2 weeks to make and send me my license. ?You'd think that NY of all states would have the capability to make them right at the DMV.?
No joke. Indiana makes them on the spot. I'm hoping for bunny's sake that Virginia is the same as Indiana in that regard.
Hi Reeve!
Funny, bb. Hey, at least your husband isn't one of those guys that really really cares what you do with your name and takes it personally if you don't do what he thinks is best.
That's true. However he, like I, thinks it's really stupid that I kept all my names. My driver's license looks ridiculous with 5 names on it now.
