Did anyone get you anything either on or off your registry that you are really excited about?
H and I received an 8x10 framed photo of the sunrise on the day of our wedding, its beautiful! H's best man and his wife gave it to us, and although its not something I would have ever thought of, its probably on the top of the fav gifts that we received.

I'm mostly excited about all the new stuff we got for our kitchen! We were still using our old pots and pans from college (which were starting to flake black stuff into our food...) and one chef's knife. I LOVE to cook so I'm very excited for the upgrades!!
My aunt got us a Gregory Euclide print (it's the Bon Iver Bon Iver album artwork)... I kind of put it on the registry as a wishful thinking sort of thing (it was kind of expensive), so I was totally floored when she got it for us
Almost as exciting is the KitchenAid mixer from H's aunt and uncle
We requested no gifts and for some unknown reason to us, a lot of our family and friends gave us gifts anyway!
My sister got us this gorgeous print of the malibu beach/pacific ocean (where we were married) with our favorite verse Corn 1. and personalized with our names and date of marriage. It got hung up in our house very quickly.
Thats awesome! People are so creative, I would never think of these awesome, non traditional gifts!

A lady I work with made us a quilt... I use it on the couch on a daily basis... LOVE the colours! It's awesome.
My uncle got us a hand carved bowl from the little town in Mexico that he lives in. Made from a balsa tree I think he said... it's HUGE and awesome I love it. When he told the little old man that made it that it was coming to Canada apparently he cried...

Well our favorite gift was our honeymoon from DH's aunt and uncle!
But actual tangible item would probably be our comforter, or new big TV
I posted this on TK but I was finally able to get a picture of it.
My aunt had a serving platter painted for us based on our wedding invitation. It was a very unexpected but greatly appreciated gift. It is something I would have never imagined getting and I absolutely love it!!

We didn't register but we did get some gifts from family.
My favorite by far was a beautiful serving platter in our wedding colors from my Aunt. Its huge too which is fantastic, I have never found one that would fit the Christmas Turkey!
