Barnes & Noble is offering a great reading program this summer for kids. The kids just have to read 8 books, record them in a journal (provided on their website) and bring the journal to the store and they will receive a free book for their participation! http://www.barnesandnoble.com/u/summer-reading/379003570?cm_mmc=Targeted-_-Misc-_-120523_NH_SUMMER_READING_KICK_OFF-_-summ3
Baltimore County Library also offers a fun summer reading program. I know I participated in their program when I was in elementary school. Official start date for their program is June 11th. http://www.bcplonline.org/summer-reading-coming-soon
My children are too young to take advantage of these great programs but I wanted to pass along the information along!
