Every Saturday morning, I strip the beds and wash all the bed linen. When do you do yours? It is the one task I don't care for, but I love the feeling of clean sheets every Saturday night.

When I remember, once a week.
Once in a while it occurs to me that I haven't changed the sheets in quite a while. Such is life with two young children and mommy brain.

I should preface this by saying that I have an insanely colorful and ridiculously organized Google calendar that I'm actually quite embarrassed of.
I change my sheets once every 7-8 days, wash my mattress pad/blankets once every 30 days, and dry-clean my quilt once or twice a year. I update my Google calendar when I do this and set reminders for myself so I don't forget.
Other chores I schedule: changing toothbrushes, furnace filters, running the dishwasher, mailing birthday cards, cleaning refrigerator, etc.
I'm intrigued, where do you find the google calendar? I am meticulous about changing sheets, the mattress pad and buying new toothbrushes but terrible at the birthday cards and cleaning the refrigerator
Hi there csavery
I have a Gmail account for my e-mail, so I use it through there (and on my Android phone, which is definitely convenient). Try this link to get one started:

I'm fairly sure you don't need to have an e-mail account with Google in order to have a Google calendar. What I like about their calendar is that you can set reminders for events, as well as color-code different types of events. Hope this helps!
