i have a completely shameful, completely flameful confession

....i am considering seeing magic mike.

even though i think channing tatum is RIDICULOUS, and even contemplating a movie ABOUT HIS YOUNG LIFE AS A STRIPPER hurts my heart.

it also looks so cheesy and awful that it will be amazing.

Okay, well then I confess that not only do I fully intend to go see it with a group of my nearest and dearest bff's (ranging in ages 31-35) but I am also 100% going to smuggle flask full of rum in my purse and/or mini bottles of wine.

Ooooh, can you teach me how to do this? Do you stream to a TV?

I don't think we're going to get cable or satellite TV when we move. It's mostly in an effort to be more active instead of vegging in front of the TV so often, but it would be nice to be able to stream stuff, too. :)

we bought a roku for our tv. it's a one-time fee for it (i think it was $80) and then you get subscriptions to what you want. you add them with the remote through the roku on your tv. we already had netflix so we just added the instant stream option. then we also got hulu plus which i think is $8/mo. amazon is a free channel to have and then you just pay per movie or tv show that you want to watch. i only use that when hulu or netflix don't have a new episode of something that i want to watch like a bravo show or something. when you get rid of cable/sat, you can still watch the local stations as they air on your tv so there is always that option too. there are times i kind of complain about not having cable. but really it's kind of nice b/c you don't have to be a slave to the tv and watch when a show is airing. you can watch at anytime and you will prob find yourself watching less tv. and unless you order a ton of stuff, it's saves money!

I've never thought to smuggle in mini bottles of wine. Genious! And I totally want to see this movie!
