Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

Starting Over
So its totally on the soon side but I am pretty sure Ill marry Jacob. He feels sure too... Probably even more than me bc unlike me, he isnt jaded and skeptical of everything lol. I told him I want to date a minimum of a yr before engagement though... Anyway the topic comes up here and there about weddings... Gah!! Ive perused here and there, lurking and came across the second wedding board on the knot. The though of going onto a new wedding month board with super young, first time brides exhausts me. I came across this post though and wow... Almost all (except the kid thing) really really hit home...

Ha ha... I just did that! Not that I need it daily any time soon, but I'm hoping I will someday.
Crystal - I am so happy for you and what you've found with Jacob! I think you're smart to wait a year before engagement. In the meantime, enjoy every minute with your man and this getting to know him phase. Have fun lurking on wedding boards. I can definitely understand a mix of emotions about a second wedding.
yay! Counting on it though it will be muuuuch smaller and more casual this time...
I'm sure that everyone on this board would be extremely happy to see some wedding planning posts again....there's no need to find a new anniversary board!
