Mackenzie goes in for her procedure on June 21st. A little sooner than I thought but apparently someone else cancelled so they had an opening. I'm kind of freaking out....

I can only imagine how nervous you must be! At least if they do it sooner there's a greater chance everything will be corrected that much sooner. ((hugs!))

I can totally understand your concern and nerves- id be the same way. But just think, the sooner she has the surgery, the sooner she will get better. Keep us all posted on her progress as I wish her a speedy recovery!

I'm glad they were able to get her in sooner. St least you don't have to stress about it for as long and you can hopefully have a solution that much faster. I truely hope this procedure does it.

I made a comment on FB too, but I just wanted to say... as a mommy who's watched her baby go into surgery as well - she will do great. One thing that really helped DH and I was to remember, that babies don't have a perception of pain. They do better than adults do, because they can't anticipate something hurting. You will be blown away with how strong she is. Get ready to enjoy some good snuggles when she wakes up!

I will be thinking about all of you. Stay strong, she needs you! I hope that this does the trick and she doesn't need a more invasive surgery later.
