We found our dream home!
I previously posted about a low ball offer we submitted, which was countered, as suspected. We decided to leave that house and continue looking for something in our budget.
Yesterday we saw 2 that would not work for us and then our realtor informed us of a house we've had our eye on for weeks. It was in contract but fell through just yesterday! So H and I of course this is meant to be. We looked at the house and fell in LOVE. We are preparing to make an offer but we are up for a battle as this is an estate sale and short sale.
I received the seller's disclosure statement just now. My questions is, when do I contact a lawyer? Does a lawyer go over offer paper work as well? Or should I contact a lawyer after the offer goes through?(fingers crossed)
