Curious About Your Weddin' Shoes!
Did everyone's shoes go according to plan?
I got a pair of Aerosoles that I intended to wear at least through the formal dances... I only made it until right after the ceremony! Getting my sandals on was priority #1 before we went into the reception.
Also- My MOH & BM didn't even wear their "fancy" shoes for the ceremony. The both opted to go ahead and wear the Converses we had custom made for the bridal party (we intended the guys to wear theirs for the ceremony, and for the girls to wear theirs at the reception). Totally wasn't planned and ended up being totally adorable
How'd everybody else fare?
Re: Curious About Your Weddin' Shoes!
I too only wore my heels for the pictures prior and through the ceremony. As soon as we were completely done with formal pictures I put on my purple converse shoes
They were so cute and everyone loved them!!
Hopefully this link works!

I was a good girl and kept my shoes on all the way from the first look through to after the first dance (which was after dinner, cake, everything). About two songs in to dancing I kicked them off at the corner of the dance floor and the DJ called me out - it was hysterical. He said something like "OHH MISS BRIDE IS ABOUT TO GET HER DANCE ONNNN" I'm sure it made for some cute photos as well
I wore flats the whole day. My husband is only a few inches taller than me, and I wanted to make sure I was shorter than him the entire day. I bought two pairs of flats: green ones that weren't super comfy for the ceremony and then very comfy Toms for the reception. I changed into the Toms immediately after the ceremony.
The funny thing is, I am usually average to tall in my group of friends. (I'm 5'4" and usually wear heels). But with the flats on all day (and all my friends dressed up with their heels), I look like a shrimp in all the pics. It made me laugh. I look shorter than one of my BM who is 5'1".

I wore my heels for the ceremony, and on the trolley to take pics. As soon as we got to the first stop for pictures, my feet were killing me, so I took my shoes off!
My flats were back at the reception, so I was barefoot for all of the pics (which worked out since my H isn't that much taller than me!)
Finally I got my flats on, right before we were introduced, but not must long after that, was I barefoot again!
By the end of the night I was wearing my old Reef flip flops...the only truly comfortable shoe in the world!

I wore my royal blue converses from start to finish and loved every minute of it! My H also wore his black & white ones. My grandma nearly had a heartattack when she realized I was wearing them for the ceremony, but I couldn't imagine being uncomfortable all day. Bonus points: we got some really great pictures of me in my converses with my wedding dress. Now my grandma loves them.
Besides we got married on the beach in southern california. That just screams converse!!!
