Thinking of doing cosmetic updates to a dated home? These were our costs.

If you have a store near you, the sales at sores are usually a lot better than online. My recent favorits are:
I have this dress on sale for $50, it's my favorit summer/weekend dress. Love it so much that I am considering buying it in another color:
This winter dress was marked down to $15 in our store:
Marked down to $25:
I've also had my eye on that blue dress TX-Bride posted! I was hoping to get it a couple weekends ago when they were offering 30% off on top of the marked down $50, but the blue wasn't available at that point.
TX-Bride: how would you say the fit runs on that dress? My local store is all sold out. Is it TTS?
I actually sized up for once at jcrew. I am normally a 2 or 4 on the tops (like natasha top), but ended up with a M, instead of S. The S looked small and short (and I am only 5'2") and did not have the easy fit look. I am more apple shape, if I didn't have a tummy to hide, I think the S would have worked. I do wear a belt over the elastic waist and dress up or down the dress with the type of belt I wear.
