I would like to introduce myself
I posted quite frequently on theknot throughout my wedding planning process on the Aug 2011 board and loved the experience and hope to find the same here. I've lurked a little bit and from the looks of it, this really seems like a great group.
My name is Amy, I was born in Boston and grew up in Connecticut so I am a true New Englander. I've been living in the GR area for just over a year and my husband is originally from Rockford. He served in the Army for 5 years and we were stationed at Fort Hood and Fort Bliss. We got married on 11/6/09 in a very small ceremony down in TX and had our vow renewal in Newport, RI on 8/19/11 after he was out of the Army. We bought our first home back in January and we've loved being homeowners so far.
Feel free to ask me anything, I'm an open book. I look forward to getting to know all of you!
