I'm getting new carpet put in our house in January and I'm starting to do some research on them. I know it's early! Anyone have any recommendations? I have used Empire before and they were horrible.
Re: Carpet installers
We used National Carpet for our house and were very pleased. We're going to use them again when we finish our family room this summer.
http://nationalcarpetmd.com/We used Baystate Carpet & Flooring for our carpet and were very happy. (Their website is having issues right now or I'd put in a link.) They are in Bel Air and drove out to us in Carrol County twice for estimates - zero pressure.
We also met with Empire and it was horrible. Super high pressure sales tactics - the guy was an a$$.

We recently used "At Your Door Floor Store", they were super nice and had a good selection.
