Wedding bands are ruining my ring finger
They are literally rubbing my fingers raw. Like painfully raw. I'm not sure what the problem is. They are both white gold which I'm not allergic to, so that's not it, and I never had this problem until I added my wedding band to the mix. Is this happening to anyone else?!? I hate it!
Re: Wedding bands are ruining my ring finger
Are they too small?
No, not at all! In fact, they may be a bit too big, but only by like 1/2 size. Do you think that may be it?
My bands are both 1/2 size too big and I've never had a problem.
Do you wash your hands a lot or clean with them on? Did you have them soldered together?
Mine aren't soldered either.
Can you keep a small juice glass or something to toss them in and put it next to the sink or on the window sill?
it might be the soap you use when you wash your hands. It might not be rinsed off enough under your band and the soap "sits" on your finger. So you might just need something more mild.
The antibacterial soaps are the worst - and really don't 'work' they way you think they would - if you read the fine print, you have to wash your hands/let the soap sit for quite awhile before the antibacterial part 'works'. Same with cleaners. Just a fun fact
I've worked at a school with small kids and their hands get very chapped/dry/raw if they don't rise off all the soap.
