Hello Monday Morning
And it's the start of another work week :-/
How was everyone's weekend? Does anyone have anything exciting they're looking forward to this coming week?

Good morning!
I came straight to work from the gym and now have to sit here on my butt til 330. This is the only day I get to use an actual computer though, since our laptop is busted.
We are heading to Austin Wednesday for a going away party for some friends moving to Colorado, so that'll be a nice little getaway...
I don't work on Monday's!
But I do work Saturday and Sunday normally. This weekend my BIL was married so i was at his wedding and Sat. (which was a sh*t show) and H got really drunk and was still a sh*t show. But he's redeeming himself. So it's all good now!
I have to go back to work tomorrow after a 4 day weekend (BOOOOO) but I'm trying to get the 30th and 1st off for a family reunion, SO I might have another vacation in my near future! YAY!
I like have weekdays off too - the grocery store isn't as busy and i don't have to deal with traffic as much. Which is nice. But I can never get together with family and friends, which is the only downside.
I normally don't work Mondays but whenever my schedule is somewhat predictable my boss decides to change it. So I'm waiting to go in 3-10pm. Boo.
I'm working on the song I'm singing for my SIL's wedding at the end of the month. I have a piano recording I bought, but it's more of a solo so the last refrain the pianist goes crazy and makes it more complicated and loud. I'm trying to cut out the last refrain and put the simpler first one in its place so I can sing over it. I'm trying to make it fill in as smoothly as possible....
Grrr... I got it all to fit smoothly so a normal not-musically-inclined person wouldn't notice I chopped up the recording a little. I know what I did though so it sounds ridiculously obvious to me.
Hmmmmm maybe I can just sing really loud over the one part pissing me off?
Are you just editing an audio track? I can take a look at it in Protools if you are having trouble.

2:29 is what's pissing me off. I cut out the last refrain and put the first one in its place and the lead-in to it sounds off to me since it's 2 different parts of the song.
There's also a weird little click at 2:53 but I gave up on that and figured it wouldn't be noticeable :P
Same here. I love being off on weekdays. Easier to shop and do stuff that is normally chaotic on the weekends.

GAH. I just now realized it was you LL! In case you missed the memo, I used to be QJ. Just to be confusing.
Haha, I knew that it would click for some people when I wrote that. Yes, I did figure out that was you. It took a few posts of reading but I was able to figure it out even before the I read your intro post with your IRL name.
I changed my SN because I've been using the Trying to Get Pregnant board on TB, and I use LL for so many other public things -- pinterest, youtube, etc. I didn't want anything I posted on TB to be traceable as me.

It's afternoon now but hello anyways all. I continue to rest at home this weekend but made a big effort and went twice. Friday our friends offered to bring us some food from Chillis. We declined and they offered to go anyplace I wanted food from. So I Told H we had to see them since I didn't want to offend them. I had a good time seeing people and being out getting free food. Sunday after recovering thoroughly from Friday H and I saw Prometheus. It was meh. I thank God we have Alamo Draft House because the food and wine (my first glass since my liver is back to normal) got me through.
It takes us 30 to 40 minutes to get to either Alamo but we feel that it is worth it for the experience. The last place I lived in Austin was walking distance to Alamo.
BTW, I will have a hard time not thinking of you as QJ. What's the origin of the new SN?
And I totally miss being LL. I feel like that's more me than this new name. Even though Peanut is what my husband calls me and Muse is how you pronounce the first syllable of my last name ....leapinglissy is just more....ME.

I know exactly what you mean. I'm QJ for everything else so it's weird. Y'all can still call me that hahaa.
I changed it because of seeing UNs like princess so and so and mine was so not meant to be that way. Queen Jane is H's nickname for me after the Bob Dylan song. I just don't want to come off as someone who would have a PPD for no good reason, if that makes sense.
Zero Orchestra is the name of a song. I'll roll with it I guess.
I changed my avatar to the same one I used for TK. Hopefully that will help.
