It's my 5-year work anniversary.

And apparently I get a gift for that. I just posted the options on the PB (if it worked) - I have to pick by the end of the week and have no freaking clue what to get.

What would you pick?

Re: It's my 5-year work anniversary.

  • My choices would be:

    - The carpet spot remover (for obvious reasons)

    - The fire pit (b/c we need a new one)

    - Popcorn machine (b/c it is fun and I would never buy one on my own)

  • I would get either the beverage tub because I never have any where to keep cold drinks cold when we are entertaining outside, the knife set because ours suck, or the dutch over/baker set because I don't have one.

The popcorn machine looks like fun, but I don't think I would use it after the first time and I don't know where I would keep it.

The fire pit also looks fun, but I wouldn't want one with Parker.

  • I was considering the fire pit - but we have no patio to put it on. If it was on the grass, it could burn things, right?
  • If you put it on the grass, you can just get a few bricks to put underneath it. We have one on a deck in our yard and we love sitting by the fire.

You could easily put some gravel down in a spot for it. That's what me dad did at his house. There was this perfect little spot just at the edge of the woods and he built a bench and put down some gravel, ringed it with stone, and set the fire pit on top.

  • I love it! There are so many options! I'd go for:

-The pendulum clock (because we've always wanted one similar)

    -The fire pit

    -The GPS because ours sucks

-The food processor because I don't have one

    -The spot cleaner thing

  • I'd definitely pick the Lladro.  It's something that's wonderful to receive for a special occasion, but not a necessity I would spend money on.  Does that make any sense?  Basically, I'm saying that Lladro is the bombdiggity.

  • I'm so boring. I ended up getting the steam mop.
