Appraiser vs. Underwriter
We just heard that our underwriter is questioning our appraisal. Basically, the appraiser included comps that were on the other side of a major road. Properties sell for much more in that area, so the underwriter is completely right to question this.
Does anyone have experience with this? I have always heard that appraisers don't like to change the value once they have assigned it.
