Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

I am livid at kraftmaid

We went to install some of our cabinets over the weekend, and two, not one, but two cabinets are broken. Actually one of them looks like it wasn't even made right, there's no way it was just a shipping damage. We requested replacement cabinets and they have now told us that they can't deliver until the 25th. Seriously, basically three weeks from now. We can't even have the granite place come to measure/template until the cabinets are IN, not just delivered but in. I am so pissed.

  • That sucks. Sorry you are having to wait so long to get your kitchen finished. Are the custom sized cabinets? or standard?

  • When my parents ordered bathroom cabinets at home depot, they told them to open the boxes right away because apparently cabinets are notorious for being broken in transit :( LAME!

  • I know, we should have checked them. They were just all so packed into the room that we were storing them in, we were afraid that we would damage them trying to get each box open before we were ready to move them into the kitchen to install. It's not so much that they were broken, because stuff happens. It's that they were and have been so unwilling to get them to us any sooner. That's just bad customer service in my opinion. It's going to take about the same amount of time for our replacements as it did for our initial order.
