HELP!! Pregnancy question!

So i took 2 pregnancy tests 2 days ago and they both had faded lines. But now I'm bleeding and its sore in my uterus area and I'm very dizzy and tired feeling. I've missed my period for 2 months now. What may be the problem? Is there a good chance I'm pregnant, right!?

Re: HELP!! Pregnancy question!

  • All I know is that you can get false negatives but a positive is a positive, regardless of how faint the line is. So, I would buy another cheapo test to verify, but it sounds like you're pregnant! But if you're bleeding, that may also be something I would call my doctor about as well.

  • ^^^ Ditto.  I'd get yourself to a Dr.  Its not preferred to bleed during pregnancy.
  • False positives are rare on pink-dye tests, but not so much when the test is a blue dye test, what brand of tests were they? Did you look at the results within the time window?

If you looked at the results on time, they were probably positive. If you're now bleeding heavily, take another test, if it's positive, call your doctor.

  • Forget dye! Go and buy a digital readout test!

    This!!!

The cheapie tests from Walmart will get the job done just fine.  A positive is a positive no matter how faint the line is.  If you're bleeding you should contact your OB/GYN ASAP to get in to rule out any problems.  It also can be normal to have some bleeding when the uterus expands if this is your first pregnancy, however, it's a "Better safe than sorry" thing for getting checked by your OB.  They'll likely do a full workup and send you in for an u/s to confirm but also estimate the gestational age if you are.  Try not to stress, but get to the doc!
