Metal stain out of bathroom vanity?
Hi all,
I don't think I've ever posted on this board before, but if you could give me a solution I haven't thought of for this problem, I'd be so grateful!
My DD left a Forever 21 type costume necklace on her bathroom counter. It was a base metal, and she must have left it in a puddle of water because I have an imprint of an owl on the counter. I'd really like to not have to replace the entire vanity top...
We've used the following with no results:
Baking soda and vinegar
Hairspray
Soap
Bleach
409
Tilex
Acetone
Any ideas?? Thanks in advance!
Re: Metal stain out of bathroom vanity?
The base metal broke down and oxidized itself on the countertop. Something that can remove oxidation might do the trick, but I'd try it in an inconspicuous place first as the chemical could also further damage the surface.
