Another SS question..

We received approval on our SS offer last week, with a condition that our seller bring 8k in additional cash to the closing.  The sellers realtor was able to negotiate down to $0 owed by the seller and the file is now for "final approval".  Anyone know how long the "final approval" takes after receiving a "preliminary" approval?

TIA!

Re: Another SS question..

  • I can't answer your question specifically, but I can tell you that I am learning that EVERYTHING takes a loooooong time as soon as you add the words "short sale."

  • If the file truly is in for final approval the investor normally takes up to 10 business days. Im sure you have been waiting a whileSmile

  • Yes, we have had the offer in for almost 6 months.  What's another 10 days! LOL
