DH has been working crazy hours and is also working most the weekend. The most exciting thing that we have going on is that we're hosting DH's parents for Father's Day dinner.
I'm also working on some home projects. The old owner had cornices or valances above most of the windows in the house. I'm looking to change about half of them (just not our style). I went fabric shopping yesterday and did not find anything I loved. Not to highjack the post, but does anyone have a favorite store or website that they go to for fabric?
I am still in relax mode from ending the school year this week.
The only definite plans are going to my parents' on Sunday for a combo Father's Day and my belated birthday dinner.
We are going to clean & organize this weekend! My mom, one of my sisters and one or two nieces are arriving on Monday for the week!
Other than that, I don't think we have any plans (which I am totally ok with).
my read shelf:
Friday: We looked at daycares (and picked one, with no tears from me!), did the walk-through of our new townhome (we are rent, no need to get excited) with our anget, got the keys and had dinner nearby so we could kill time while avoiding rush hour traffic.
Today: errands, editing photos I took for a friend last weekend, and taking DH out for father's day dinner.
Tomorrow: church, working out in the garage getting stuff packed (maybe taking a few boxes to the new place) and spending time as a family.
