Hi,
We are looking to move in the near future and school districts are a top priority. I was wondering if you could tell anything about the following school districts:
N. Penn**
Souderton
Perkiomen Valley
Spring-Ford
They all rank 9/10 on greatschools.org, so this doesn't really help me out. **I also hear "N. Penn is a really good school district" but never WHY it is a great school district. I also recently heard from a friend that her friend is pulling her kids out of the elementary school b/c they were unhappy.
I am not on this board a lot but you all have been really helpful in the past. Thanks!
Re: School Districts
I would say N. Penn and Springford seem to have the best names on the list. I am a product of N. Penn and have to say I feel I had a great education. The graduating classes are around 1,000 students which is a lot and the school is huge, but it does offer quite a bit. I think it will really depend on where you want to live.
N. Penn is the most typical suburban district I would say. Closest to the city, although not that close. Some of those others reach out into what I would consider too rural for my tastes, but I grew up in Philly so what do I know, haha.
If you want more specific info about N. Penn I would be happy to tell you about my thoughts and feelings, trust me there was a lot I didnt like too.....I just dont want to post a novel on here. Private message me if you have any questions
