Need SUV/crossover recommendations
I'm looking for recommendations for something that would hold 2 adults, a kid and 2 dogs, one of which is 100 lbs. Plus camping gear (a cooler and 2 or 3 large plastic storage bins worth of stuff). And it needs to hold us comfortably for loooonnnng road trips.
I know we could go to dealerships and look at all the options but it would be nice to narrow it down a little. There are just so many out there.

Tired after a long morning of hiking and swimming.
Re: Need SUV/crossover recommendations
Chevy Traverse or Buick Enclave... The Traverse is cheaper. Otherwise a GMC Acadia... A lot depends on how much you want to spend... If you really want room - a Suburban!!!

That is what I thought at first. Then my DH made a good point. Why have a 3rd row seat then if the only way you get more storage is to fold them up. It defeats the purpose of a 3rd row.
Thanks everyone, we'll look at your suggestions.
While a Suburban would be nice, there's no way we would ever spend that much. Folding a 3rd row seat down is fine - we'd be buying it for storage space anyway.
Thanks!
