I just called my new obgyn's office and tried to switch to a doctor because I am scheduled with a mid-wife and while I was explaining my concerns with the receptionist she put me on hold and got the doctor on the phone to talk to me. She was so nice. I explained to her that I may have PCOS and told her what my FSH and LH numbers were on my last blood test. I also told her that my u/s showed multiple small peripheral follicles. She said that when I come in on the 26th she will start a series of tests for PCOS, including androgen levels, insilin levels, etc. She said no point in going to an RE (fertility specialist) yet. She also said that yes, my tests could have been squewed because of the time of the month they were done and because I was on progesteron the time of my blood test. Yay! This makes me very happy! Also, I love that this doctor took the time to take my call and actually listened to my concerns!
Re: Somewhat good news!
Thank you! Yes, I think I made a good choice to switch too. This practice was recommended to me not only by one of my good friends, but also by my primary doctor (he said his baby was delivered by one of their doctors). So far, I'm happy!

That is great news! So your current insurance will cover those right? Cause that would be even better news!
PS thinking about you today!!!
Yes, my current insurance will cover it. I'll still end up with a bill but hopefully it won't be too much.
Thanks for thinking of me. The interview went real well, but it was quick only 5 questions. They didn't say when I'd hear back or if they are doing second interviews, so now it's just a waiting game. I'll be sending the principal a thank you note first thing in the morning.
