Father's Day
What is everyone doing today to celebrate their fathers? Are you helping your father-in-law celebrate too?
My family is getting together for brunch this afternoon. My DH is going up to his parents house to take his father out. I am not super close with his father so I don't care at all about going up there. Plus, he's the kind of man that lives for this day. He plans an entire day of events all centered around himself. I'm so glad my dad isn't like that. He's happy with an hour brunch.

Re: Father's Day
Our fathers are in MN, so we can't do anything. I sent them cards and I am sure we'll call them. Its also m MIL and my dad's birthday too, so its like one big family day! My bro graduated college yesterday, so my mom posted some family pics. Made me kinda sad we aren't home to celebrate with them.
I think its going to be a long day for me. Holidays are always tough when I can't be home.
We had a late lunch with DH's dad. I wasn't sure if we were even going to do that since DH and his dad aren't on the best of terms. But I guess they made plans yesterday. I sent mine a card and visited him last weekend for an early Father's Day.
I told DH on Friday that he should spend this Father's Day with his dad because it might be the last father's day where he(DH) isn't a Father. If you can convey a raised eyebrow through the phone, DH did. He was like "Is there something I should know?" Probably had to be there for it, but I was laughing pretty hard.
