We just got word from our loan officer that our loan has been finalized, and we got the final approval from the lenders! We have to wait to close until the 25th thought (ugh) but at least everything is set and ready for closing!
Now onto picking out paint colors!
If anyone has grey walls they want to share I would love it! Our plan is to do different shades of grey throughout the house, with a pop of color in each room.
Re: Great House News!!
congrats!! it took me over a month to close on my house once the offer was accepted, so the 25th won't be so bad.
good luck with everything!!

Yay! So excited for you guys. The grey walls sound so great. I can't help giggle though at the fact that you're painting them "shades of grey"... 50 of them? j/k
btw - I keep forgetting to tell you how adorable your calico is!
Thanks ladies!
Inspection was done about a month ago! Our offer was accepted May 9th.. so it has been over a month since we started the process with this house. We have had it inspected, appraised, raidon tested, final approval from the bank, and abstract is finished.
Just need the title written up from our attorney, and the sellers need to move out... THEN we close!
PS.. I thought about "50 Shades of Grey" when I wrote that in the OP, too! Haha
Congratulations!!!! It is so exciting to buy your first home
I just painted our bedroom grey! I'm going to try to put up a link to the behr paint we used but who knows if it'll work.

Our bedroom is huge so I used Behr paint and painted three walls Anonymous and one wall Dark Granite. It breaks up all the solid color, we have white trim and baseboards/door, and black furniture. I really want to paint the inside of our closest a fun, bright color but we'll see how hubby feels about that
Good luck painting and decorating! Can't wait to see pictures
