Anyone send an invite to Mickey and Minnie?

I sort of remember when we were all sending out our invites about people sending invitations to Mickey and Minnie Mouse and getting back a signed picture. (And I saw it on Pinterest today too.)

Anybody really do this and get a response back? My parents are having their 30th anniversary this year and my dad LOVES Disney and I thought it would be fun to send a vow renewal invite and have that to give to them.

Re: Anyone send an invite to Mickey and Minnie?

  • A friend of mine invited President and Mrs. Obama to their wedding. They received a very nice card from the White House congratulating them - it was awesome!

Not Mickey and Minnie - but still cool!

  • No. I wish I did. We were running low on invites and I was running out of patience when it came to printing and addressing them.
  • I sent one to Disney and one to the Obama's. The President & Mrs. sent back a congrats card.

Disney never replied  ::shakes fist:: You'd think they would be nicer to me since I have to listen and see their fireworks going off every single night at 9:30 and it drives my dog bonkers.

It is worth trying though, I've heard many people getting a response.

Oh yuck!  As much as I like fireworks...hearing them every single night would get extremely old real quick!!

  • I sent one to Disney and one to the Obamas.  I got a response from both.  From Disney, I got a signed picture and from the Obamas, a congratulations card.  It did take quite a while for the one from Disney though.  You should definitely send one for your parents...it'd be neat for your dad!

  • I didn't send one, but I think that would be an awesome idea for your dad. He would love that!

  • We sent one to Mickey and Minnie and got a response pretty quickly. We got a pin and a signed picture. We went to Disney World on our honeymoon and it is a nice little novelty thing to have.

I think it's a cute idea for a gift for your dad. If you don't have it, here's the address to send it to:

The Walt Disney Company 500 S Buena Vista St Burbank, CA 91521

Thanks for the address! I was wondering where to send it :)

  • We did it too! I love my signed picture from Mickey and Minnie. Hubby just shakes his head at me when I do things like that :)
