As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

Why did I think it was later in the week than Tuesday? I think working really makes you hold on to little lies like that!
I'm trying to decide if I'm going to announce on facebook which I had decided not to do. But people have started posting things to my wall that I scramble to erase before anyone sees it. So maybe it's best to just put it out there?

it's your decision to put it out there or not. if you decide not to, you should just let people know that it isn't fb official and that you don't want it on there. maybe i will head on over there to write something

I haven't announced on FB either. I have no idea why... at some point it just seemed anti-climatic to me. Luckily, no one has really outed me because that's not really the way I want it to happen. Of course, all my close friends know. You would think people would look at your FB first and see if you are ""out" before posting. It kind of annoys me when people don't think before posting. Of course, I am sure at some point I have posted something dumb on someone's FB (oh right, I do remember having done that). At least if you came out, you wouldn't have to constantly police your FB! Or, if you want, I think you can change your FB settings for awhile so no one can actually post on your wall.

ANDPLUSALSO, once you DO have a new arrival, you may want to 1st post it on FB... Some of our friends were posting up 'congrats' messages BEFORE my BFF and her DH said anything. So it was like "congrats to the new mom + dad!" and people were like uhhhhh.... so she's here???

uggggggggggh, I need to get some Pediatrician rec's soon. Apparently its a BFD to have that doc all rarin' to go once babyBAMF arrives.
