Hello from a fellow knottie
I used to post on the knot under a different user name (my old one had my last name). I've been lurking off and on since our May 5 wedding and decided it's time to post. So hello! How's everyone liking TN?
Re: Hello from a fellow knottie
yeah, i'm pretty 'meh' about it too. the picture thing is annoying, but it's still a decent time suck for the most part so i still come by and post haha :-P
AurorasEnvy, I wonder why you can't bold/italicize? those options show up for me.. hmm.. maybe try highlighting the text and use Ctrl+b or Ctrl+i

AGREED. It pretends it will let you bold/italicize/underline, but PSYCH! Just kidding, no formatting for you! And I also hate the view count. Makes me afraid to read and not post.
i'm testing out the options for
bold text
italicized text
underlined text
must be a browser issue, like you said. i'm using IE because that's what work put on the computer and i don't want to ruffle any feathers by downloading a new internet browser to the work computer. :-P (i use safari at home, but only get on TN at work)

Well, all the OPTIONS show up...but when I highlight and click "B" it just doesn't do anything but unhighlight it. Not a huge deal per se, but still kind of annoying.
And I can post photos, but with TN you have to upload it somewhere else first (photobucket, etc.) and then hotlink it. I just like the feature where you can straight upload it on TK. And the one time I tried it, all the formatting turned into a hot mess where the photos were overlapped and stuff.
And I agree, I'm afraid to click on a post and not say anything! I feel kind of bad when like 20 people have read something and no one has posted anything back =]
I feel the same way as PPs.
I agree that TK is much more user friendly than TN. I just tried to post some pictures and it wouldn't let me, even after uploading to photobucket first
I can't believe they don't use the same forum format. considering it's the same company.
This sums up my thoughts...
