Vampire Diaries 5/3 *spoilers*

OMG was this episode intense! It felt like a season finale!

So do we think Klaus was telling the truth about being the vampire that created the whole gang?

This episode made me wonder if they are going to turn Bonnie evil? Maybe she will actually be interesting if that happens, because right now I can't stand her. And I couldn't care less about Abby.

I can't believe they finally got Klaus. I'm sure this won't be the last of him. I did not see that coming at all.

I loved the Klaus showdown at the house when he was trying to get in.

Alaric as a vampire is pretty bad ass. I'm kind of loving it. Interesting that he is tied to Elena. I was impressed she figured it out, she's usually pretty dumb.

As I seem to be saying each episode, I'm liking Matt more and more each episode this season. I'm hoping he doesn't die in the finale! (Which is impressive, considering the first two seasons I was actively hoping for his death)

I know the show is supposed to be about the love triangle, blah blah blah, but it is dragging and honestly was the most boring part of the episode. I'm getting to the point where I don't care who she chooses, I just want it over. And this is coming from a hardcore Delena fan.

Poor Caroline, she always seems to get tortured. I loved the little moment between her and Klaus.

Nice of them to finally explain how vampires are able to get into the Salvatore house.

Yay for Elijah next week!!!!!!

Crap, I totally missed this. I thought I heard someone saying something about it, but I had to run out of the room and didn't think to rewind. Can someone explain?

So do we think Klaus was telling the truth about being the vampire that created the whole gang? i totally think he was lying.  i'm hoping that Elijah is the creator of their line.

This episode made me wonder if they are going to turn Bonnie evil? Maybe she will actually be interesting if that happens, because right now I can't stand her. And I couldn't care less about Abby. DarkWillow!  I hope they don't go too far into it, but I think a little dark magic would be fun.

I can't believe they finally got Klaus. I'm sure this won't be the last of him. I did not see that coming at all. fabulous acting on Joseph Morgan's part.  that was a heart wrenching scene.

I loved the Klaus showdown at the house when he was trying to get in.

Alaric as a vampire is pretty bad ass. I'm kind of loving it. Interesting that he is tied to Elena. I was impressed she figured it out, she's usually pretty dumb. i love that the writers let us say goodbye to Alaric so that we can actively hope for Vampalaric's death.

Nice of them to finally explain how vampires are able to get into the Salvatore house. OMGyes.

Yay for Elijah next week!!!!!! *swoon* i didn't catch that on the preview, my dvr always cuts off half way through

i think the best way to kill vampalaric is to kill and vamp Elena, and i hope that's what they do.

  • Damon and Klaus whipping fence posts at one another was highly amusing.

I agree about Bonnie, why is she still helping them anyway? She was mad at Stefan and Damon, she was mad at Elena, she was mad at Jeremy....sensing a pattern here. I tend to tune her out.

It's a little convenient Alaric can't kill Elena for some reason, just as Klaus magically had a reason for wanting her alive that whole time, but I guess it was at least clever the way they did it.

As someone on Twitter said with the shows I watch I never believe people are really dead. I bet there's a way Klaus could be brought back.

I'm glad I stuck with this show, I almost gave up halfway through season one because it seemed slow, I think they really hit their stride this season.

I read the book a long time ago (so maybe it was that) but I thought they had already mentioned in a way earlier episode, why vamps could get in.

They said that though they'd signed the deed over to Elena, when she died, it reverted back to no human ownership. I cannot for the life of me remember who killed her - my memory is terrible. But that was the explanation.

As Klaus is about to kill Jenna, Stefan arrives and asks to take Jenna's place but Klaus refuses and stabs Stefan as he says he has other plans for him. He then moves to kill Jenna as Greta breaks the flames, Jenna runs towards her and bites her. However, Klaus gets to her and kills her before she can kill Greta. As he brings Elena out for the final part of the sacrifice, he thanks her and Elena tells him to go to hell. He then drinks her blood and Elena dies.

I totally forgot they even signed the deed over to Elena in the first place.  Thanks!

I don't believe for a second that Klaus is gone for good. They did the same thing to him that they did to Mikael, and he was able to come back.

I agree that they need to kill and turn Elena to solve their issue with VampAlaric, and I'm betting that is how the season ends, either with her turning or with that as a cliffhanger.
