As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

Ouch! Those just look painful to walk in. I've been other shoes with the no heel part and they all look painful.
I'm not sure there is an explanation other than it's something new and different that some people will like because it's new and different.
I'd probably try them on for sh!ts and giggles - but then I'd also probably lose my balance and bust my @ss.
I actually saw someone wearing boots like that on campus right before school got out. Not quite sure how she pulled it off, because that just looks painful to walk in.
