Favorite cities in Spain??
We are thinking of going to Spain for a week in September and are looking for advice on what cities to visit. We defiantly want to do Barcelona, a beach town, and possibly one other city. Any recommendations would be appreciated! Thanks!

If you want to go to Barcelona for sure my suggestion would be Montserrat.
I'm very late to this, but FWIW: here is my trip report from late Feb. We spent a week in Barcelona, with 2 day trips - it was perfect! On a separate vacation, we visited Madrid (with side trips to Escorial and Toledo), and Andalusia (Granada, Cordoba, Sevilla).

I don't think you can find a bad city in Spain (ok, maybe Gibraltar isn't for everyone, but I blame the UK
).
Anyway, my favorite city in Spain is San Sebastian-- it's beautiful, the beach, the people, the food, the countryside. Honestly, can't think of one con.
