As if I don't have enough to do at work, I was semi-volunteered to make a crossword puzzle for our employee newsletter. We picked "Baltimore" as the theme, but now I have to come up with 30 clues/answers. Anyone want in? It can be anything Baltimore related...
I already have:
Clue: He married Sally Utz at Power Point Live on May 14, 2011
Answer: Natty Boh
Clue: This "Ironman" is an icon for the Baltimore Orioles and owns the Aberdeen Ironbirds
Answer: Cal Ripken Jr
Clue: This monument was erected in 1815 to commemorate the first president of the United States
Answer: Washington
I'm looking for a mix of both factual and fun. Have at it if you wish!

Re: Crossword Puzzle Help
Something about Edgar Allan Poe.
Maybe "The Baltimore Ravens were named for what famous poet's work"
Something about HBO's The Wire or the tv series Homicide.
The name of the former home of the Orioles - answer Memorial Stadium
A seasoning for Baltimore's favorite tasty crustacean - answer Old Bay
A throwback to the Colts - something about the team that pre-dated the Ravens but was whisked away in the middle of the night, or the team that was home to Artie Donovan and Johnny Unitas.
Clues that relate to famous people from the area: Julie Bowen, Ed Norton, Jada Pinkett, Tori Amos, Charles S Dutton, Duff Goldman, Mike Rowe.
Oprah was on local TV long before she hit it big. "This TV host got her start on local Baltimore TV long before she started handing out cars to her audiences."
Something about John Waters and/or his iconic movies: Hairspray and Cry Baby are the two "biggest", I think. "This filmmaker's movies include stars like Rikki Lake and Johnny Depp."
This R&B performer got his start performing at The Fudgery in the Inner Harbor, but his hit "Thong Song" didn't make him a big name until 2000.
Answer: Sisqo
I didn't know this! I may or may not love that song
I'd add to this that he split from his band, Dru Hill, for a solo career and made it big with "Thong Song." Dru Hill's song "In My Bed" was pretty popular, at least when I was in high school.
