I have a face to face interview set up with UHG next week. I've been out of the interviewing process for several years. Can anyone provide insight to types of questions they'll ask?
Re: United Health Group?
Be prepared for "behavioral" interviewing - this is a commonly used approach where they will be looking for specific examples of your past performance. I would encourage you to think of 4-5 "power stories" or examples of your best work. Jot down bulletpoints ahead of time that point out what you did and the impact you had. (Google this if this approach is new for you - a little prep will go a long way
I'd also be prepared to talk about a conflict you've had, your own strengths/weaknesses, and why you are interested in the position. Also practice a short "intro" that walks through your resume/experience and qualifications. (should be 2-3 mins tops)
Good luck!

This! My husband works for an insurance company and is involved in all the hiring they do for new employees. The interviews are BBI (behavior based interviewing) and I know they put a lot of weight on these interviews. He is shocked at how unprepared many people are for these interviews, so yes google behavior based interviews and spend a couple hours on practice questions and you should be golden.
Good luck!
Thanks, ladies!! Yes, I am somewhat familiar with behavior based interviewing, but will defintely do more research so I am fully prepared. I have got some time yet as the interview is late next week. I've already had a phone interview, so I've put a lot of thought into responses already.
Thanks!!
