It's F!CKING hot again today! I'm sitting here at work sweating it up. The A/C has been on 24 hours all freaking week. If my boss would just let me wear shorts, I may be a tad bit cooler.

DH and I were both so excited yesterday b/c our driftwood mirror for the master bath was supposed to arrive. It took exactly one month to come in. I get home and pick up the box from the porch and hear small pieces moving. Not cool. I open it up and the mirror is in like 10 pieces. I can?t believe how horribly wrapped it was ? it just had like a wooden frame around the wood part and nothing but one piece of tissue paper over the mirror part. A 5 year old would?ve had better sense. We?ve both been calling and emailing last night and today and still haven?t gotten a response from them. They have the worst customer service ever. Never order anything from Seaside Inspired! That stinks!

I have another one!

I'm not sure who hired the guy that delivers are mail, but he sucks. I wen to the mailbox yesterday and I received an letter that was half chewed. Thank goodness it wasn't anything important, like a bill from the County, etc. I called the Post Office this morning and complained. This is probably the third time, I've called this year. No wonder the post office is reducing service.

Did you copy from another program and paste here? I find if you copy from Word (which I have in the past it does that).

The house next to us is in foreclosure. The price just recently dropped and there have been tons of people looking at it. The place is a $hithole. It was built in the 70's while the homes surrounding it were built 6 years ago. There is no a/c and it needs a lot of work. Our neighbors and I really hope no one buys it and they drop it even lower so we can buy it. We really don't want renters which is what we think is going to happen. Oh and there are people looking at it now who have blocked my driveway (we share a driveway with it) and have an unleashed dog walking around. I can only hope that they'll realize how hot it is in the place and what a money pit its going to be.

I can only hope that they'll realize how hot it is in the place and what a money pit its going to be.

Maybe you'll get lucky and someone will flip it. Every foreclosure we looked at was snatched up by a cash buyer and then flipped.

I saw some of the worst examples of human beings yesterday on the metro, all in the Southeast section of my ride. One a young mother gets on with 3 kids, probably around 3, 5, and 7/8 years old. The kids open hand smack each other repeatedly-HARD-, the 3 year old crying the whole time and about 5 minutes of them doing this the mother starts cussing all three of them out for bothering her, not hitting each other, but for being "annoying little sh!ts". It was disgusting behavior from both the mom and the kids. Then I overhear 3 older men, maybe in their 50's totally gay bashing "it's disgusting, it's against God" and dropping the derogatory "f" word over and over again. Add to that a bunch of teenagers that were screaming at each other and running all over the cars earlier and I just about lost all faith in the general population/humanity.

It would take a lot to flip it. You can't build onto the house since its in forest conservation. It was a modular home that has an addition. My neighbor just texted me and told me there was a contractor there yesterday looking who does remodels for older folks.
