Questions about your rings

For those with an engagement ring and wedding ring, how do you wear them? Do you only wear your wedding ring? If you wear both, do you wear them together? Or do you wear the engagement ring as a right-hand ring?

When, if ever, do you take off your ring(s)?

Re: Questions about your rings

  • I only wear my rings when I go out. Once I get home, I take them off. I wear my engagement ring and wedding ring together most of the time, but when I was in chem lab last semester, I would only wear my wedding ring to class.

Ben rarely takes off his wedding ring. He only takes it off if he feels like his finger is starting to get irritated.

When we get home, our rings all come off.  Which also means we tend to forget them if we're in a hurry running out the door.  Joy doesn't wear her rings at work since she works in a restaurant and there's a chance of them getting damaged.

We also don't wear them if we're doing something where something might happen to them.

  • I wear them everywhere, and so does H. He is going to have to start taking them his when he starts work on Monday, but he will probably put them  on as soon as he gets home. I wear both of them together, and if I am feeling bothered by them on one hand, I put them on the other for a while.

I promised myself I would never take them off, because I could never loose them.

  • I had my rings sodered together a few days before we got married., so they are just 1 ring now. I always have them on, day and night. The only time I take them off is if my hands are swollen or if I'm swimming. DH never takes his ring off, it would suck if he lost it but his would be way cheap to replace, well cheap compared to mine.

  • My rings are sodered together. I wear it when I go out of the house all the time.  If I am just hanging around the house, I usually don't wear it because that usually means I am cleaning. I am sure it would be fine to wear cleaning, but its just easier.  I also don't wear mine while sleeping.  I don't really know why I don't.

J wears his all the time, shower, sleep, cleaning, working, ect.  If we loose his it would loose a lot of sentimental value, but we only paid 25 dollars for this ring, so not out a ton.

  • I wear mine all the time. My band is a "wrap" so my e-ring fits into the band. (kind of looks like one ring). I only take my off when I go into the ocean because I'm afarid a big wave might knock it off my hand. I always shower, sleep, and clean with my rings on. DH wears his all the time except for sleeping or when he's in the ocean.

Married the love of my life on 1-21-12. Our princess arrived on 5-28-13.
