Monday Randoms
Mornin'. How was the weekend for everyone?
Sooo sleepy this a.m. How do you wake yourself up? I took a shower, ate breakfast..but now I'm dying in front of the computer. Coffee does nothing for me, except give me the jitters. Stinks.

Weekend was ok. We took baby Wop to the beach for the first time. It was great!
We FINALLY put curtains up in the living room! We've had blinds forever, but they're not pretty, and I bought curtains months ago, but hadn't had time to put them up. We finally had a free afternoon to do it and it looks so awesome, especially with my new rug. It looks like I have a new living room! I'll post pics tonight.

Weekend was ok. My dad and brother came up here for the Founder's party and Whitecaps game, so I went home to keep mom company.
Charity- I just saw your question to me in the Friday randoms. Thanks for asking. Studying is sucking the life out me lol. I hate it and want to give up. But it will be over in 5 weeks and I'm definitely not the only one feeling like this. So, gotta put the head down and power through.

Morning all! Vacation was great but sooo happy to be home. Hannah missed her toys and you can tell she is happy to be home as well!
Vacation became very expensive! Our AC went out at the house the day after we left. Luckily the neighbor heard the AC making noises and shut it down and called us. We were able to get it fixed before we came home - $400! Then DH got a speeding ticket on Friday in IL (darn State Police!) - $120! And then we found ants in the house on Saturday when we got home. Luckily I think they had just "broke in" Saturday morning so we got some ant killer and they seem to be all dead and gone now. Oh, but Hannah found the ant trap we thought we had hid well enough, dumped some of the liquid out and licked it off her hands - so a call to poision control was made yesterday! Luckily she didn't get much and seems fine.
I'm glad it's Monday and we can get back to "normal" life.
Where did you end up going for vacation?
I dunno. My boss mostly. Just kind of tough to work for lately. And we're in our slow time, so this is when I get "busy" work dumped on me too. It makes work very unfulfilling. I never know when boss is going to go on a rampage sending mundane passive-agressive tasks/emails.

Grades still aren't posted from my class that ended last weekend. Too darn long!
The kids and I picked raspberries from our patch today. They are so tasty. Not enough for jam this year, but we have a ton of new canes coming up: a good sign for next year!
The coop progress was astounding this weekend. It would be done except we opted for a swimming pool break instead. Worth it.
A band of 9 year old boys dressed as superheros are roaming the neighborhood this afternoon. Fun day on our street.

B&G: 5 weeks! I know it seems like forever, but in 4 weeks, you'll be wishing for more time. Isn't life absurd?

I second the pre-natal vitamins. My nails grow fast and are so strong when I take them.
