House went on the market..feedback on listing please
Re: House went on the market..feedback on listing please
Thanks! I wish there were more pictures up... I think we are going to see if we can get a few more... Typically I see about 18 photos on most listings. We plan on talking to our RE today about it.
You wanna buy
Great looking house!
The HOA is $60 a month. The taxes are ridiculous in the county that we live in, plus the school taxes are high. But I guess that is part of the price you pay to be living in one of the more desirable school districts in our area of Western PA. On our future home, if we stay in the same area.. our taxes will be close to $10,000 a year.
thanks for the suggestion about posting on proboards. I think I found a link to them and posted over there.
It's nice. But, the photos are blurry.
Also, I'd redo the pic of the front exterior so it's not having the garage in your face as much. Can you take the shot from the other side of the home, capturing more of the front entry area? I agree with the PP about the above pics of living and dining. It's tough to get an idea of the floor plan.
The one bedroom with all the bright stuffed animals needs to be cleared out. Remove the animals. And, overall clear out your personal artifacts and photographs.
You have nice, neutral walls and decor.
No offer yet, we had 3 showings so far. All potential buyers loved the house. 2 of 3 mentioned about location. The one buyer wants to be in our township but on the other side of it. The 2nd buyer is looking all around the area, I guess she currently lives in the city and most of her friends live east of the city (we are southwest) but she looked at our place because of our school district is top notch. The 3rd set of buyers (retirement age) said the house was too big.
We have an open house this Sunday. I am hoping we get some foot traffic which will lead to an offer (I can only hope !)
That was the first thing I noticed too....when we were looking to buy we didnt even to to any properties if they didnt list the sq ft. because looking in a low budget we assumed they were not saying because its pretty cramped. BUt the pictures look good. Also we didn't look at any properties that didnt list what the HOA was because we didnt want to fall in love with anything that we could 'afford' but then had high HOA fees that pushed it out of our monthly abilities to pay.
