Now it's my turn to solicit some help on some rug choices (for under our dining room table, which is one big room with our kitchen), now that I know about the sale at rugsusa today! I am thinking more neutral in the rug because we are still somewhat undecided on backsplash colors so that will give us more options.

The first one says the tan is more of an olive toned tan. The 2nd one says what looks like off-white is really more of a light tan. And the 3rd one says it is more of a darker, slate colored gray.
Then there is this one that I really like. I just hesitate with a pattern like that because I'm afraid it will go out of style quicker.

Re: more rug help!
Ditto. And don't stress about ordering today - they're always having big sales on that site
I'm sure they'll have one on July 4!
I also like 3 and 4. Actually, I L.O.V.E. 4, and wanted to buy it myself, but it just won't match anything I need a rug for. Sadface. So you should buy it, and post a picture. :-P
I think you and I have similar tastes.
I spent a couple hours looking at rugs myself. I finally decided to hold off (hoping they have another sale later) because I am not positive where I might be moving to.
I think it all depends on your color scheme. I looove the colors of the first one... it's very natural/neutral. I think you would be good going with any one of them. I think the last one wont necessarily go out of style ... that being said, I love the first two more. If you're going with more neutral colors, then go with the first two... but more blacks/blues and cooler colors would go better with the last one...
Double check and make sure they all have the sale option. I found a rug that I looooved but it didn't qualify for the 75%...
Confession: I just went and bought the first rug... I've been looking for rugs for some time but never found something I wanted in my price range. Though I debated, I couldn't pass up this sale. When you said it's more of an olivey colored tan, it made me go look again. My living room is olives/sage greens and tans and what not so I think it'll be perfect no matter where I go...
Thanks!
