Need a new mascara...recs please
I used Lash Architect by Loreal for a really long time and they stopped making it so I've been using some Clinique stuff that I hate. I no longer want to spend more than $10 for a tube. I have long lashes but I would like them to be thicker. Please reccommend something to thicken (and maybe lengthen, I want them to look fake!) that won't flake all over the place and won't cost me a fortune. thanks!
Re: Need a new mascara...recs please
Really liked Dior Show, but got tired of spending $20+ for mascara. have since switched to Maybelline Great Lash (pink bottle with a green cap). There's no gimmicks, just plain mascara, and it works great.
Since I can usually get it for less than $5 when it goes on sale, I buy a new tube every 3 months or so, before it has a chance to start drying up. Really good mascara.
Dior Extase.
Although like the PP, I also like Maybelline Great Lash. I have been using MGL for 20 plus years but I think the Dior Extase is better, if that is at all possible.
I've always heard that spending a ton of money on mascara is a waste- That all the formulas are essentially the same, so with mascara you really are just paying for the name.
I'm currently trying Maybeline's Mega Plush Mascara- I really like the gel formula, but I have to really layer it up to get the coverage I want. But, once I get it on I love it. It's soft and doesn't flake or smudge.
On the higher end, I LOVE BareMinerals Flawless Definition Volumizing Mascara- It has the best mascara brush I have ever used. Its only flaw is that it doesn't come in waterproof
I used to think Dior Show was hype...until i used it!! Amazing but $$$$
for the drugstore I like Loreal Volumillion Lashes or The Falsies is ok. also Rimmel Sexy Curves really curls. but THE DIOR SHOW is amazing. just significantly better.
Look, one coat w Loreal. One w/ Dior

I have heard a lot of good things about Dior but have not tried it myself.
Right now my top three are Bad Gal by Benefit, Josie Maran and Urban Decay. I have a lot of others - all were samples or full sizes included with other items. I have yet to find one that I am willing to go out and purchase. Lancome does nothing for me.
I love this too. I always get compliments on my lashes, everyone wants to know what I use. The best part is--no smudges!
I was extremely impressed by Vicotria's Secrete mascaras. In fact I was thinking about it today to stop and get some.
I do use a lot of dior products and have multiple mascaras, I love how they look but the only thing I don't like about them, they are a pain to take off and wash off your face.
