I hadn't seen a post about this yet today, so I figured I'd go ahead has check in with everyone about how their doing!
Today, I'm feeling good, I'm in the middle of lunch right now, and I'm eating a delicious mix of brown rice, grilled chicken, salsa, and light feta cheese!
I need variety in my meals, so this was a bit of an experiment and I'm really enjoying it!
As long as we don't get rain this afternoon, I'm planning on going for a nice walk....maybe just 30 minutes....better than nothing I guess!
I'm feeling better about how I'm eating since I posted originally about my food/diet issues. I just need to keep this going and not be upset with myself if I eat something "bad" since hopefully it will be a once in a while type of treat (ice cream with H or something on the weekends)

Glad you got the discussion going, and even more glad that you are feeling better about your health and habits.
Today is a rotten day of ten types of temptation. We have two birthdays at the office this week and they both brought us treats. I did have a healthy lunch of yogurt, leftover veggies & a turkey sandwich. But that came between a donut with coffee from one birthday and a slice of strawberry pie from the other birthday. Good thing I plan to go to the gym tonight for a group fitness class.
So I have had mixed days lately. While I have increased my exercise lately since I'm not sitting at work my eating habits suck. I have been eating breakfast more on a regular basis but lunch has been mostly fast food (blah) when H gets home.
Dinner has been much better! I cook almost every night whereas before it was like I cooked 3-4 times a week. Last night we did homemade tacos with turkey meat and lots of veggies!
Lunch today was only a hot pocket. It was quick when I got busy.
I've been trying to eat better. Last night we had salmon, veggies, and roasted potatoes. I'm trying to get a little more variety in our dinners atleast. For lunch today I had a piece of left over steak (about 4oz), brown rice, and green beans. Plus, I have had grapes, some almonds, and watermelon.
H is out of town for the next two nights, so I have no idea what I will have for dinner!
Sunday we did a lot of yard work, plus we have started taking our daily walks. When H gets back we will start back up doing P90X.
ugh.. i've been lonely since DH and i are still doing this dang long distance crap... it causes a lot of eating out and lethargy. blah...
yesterday i went to this awesome mexican place for dinner and had a giant margarita with it! haha i have enough leftovers for lunch AND dinner today! haha
i made a salad for lunch and left it in the fridge so i could have my mexican leftovers instead haha
in better news, i bought a bike today, so hopefully that'll get me outside more often! a friend of mine at work and i are planning to ride our bikes to work together
