Anniversary date: October 30, 2011 (right after the huge snowstorm in the NE, we were very lucky that our venue had a generator since the majority of Simsbury, CT had no power for up to 2 weeks after the storm including all the hotels that our guests and us were at! Made for an extra memorable day that's for sure!)

Super devastating, but I believe everything happens for a reason so I'm trying to stay strong, and I am giving extra love to our giant 18lb fat cat Weasley McGonagall Horntail *last name* and our precious little pumpkin prissy kitty that chirps like a quail Lily Liberty Lovegood *last name* I tried to insert a pic, but apparently I don't know how to do that anymore!

What you want to be when you grow up: a stay at home blogger!!! I started writing a food blog a few months back, and it has really taken off! I had over 20,000 page views last month alone! We have two dogs (both rescue mutts: Josie likely a JRTx and Callie likely a Ridgebackx), and 4 horses (two are retired OTTBs, one is a 4yo TBxHolsteiner and one is a 2yo TBXOldenurg - both out of my retired mare)
We like anything outdoors: camping, hiking, paintball, etc. and reading. I do three day eventing and DH rock climbs. I like trying to cook and we both enjoy renovating our home (it was a foreclosure).
I work for a health company as a systems engineer and DH works for a finance company as an analyst
