is this too 'homecoming' for a wedding? too fancy? (PIP)
I'm going to a friends' wedding this weekend, but my budget is really tight right now (aka, couldn't buy a new dress). :P So, I decided to use this dress from a Junior year (of college) formal. Is it too fancy for a wedding? The wedding is at 3 p.m., and the reception is full-out dinner, drinks, dancing, etc. at a place called "_____ Ballroom". I was planning on an updo, but maybe keeping my hair down would make it more casual? I'd prefer to leave my hair up though, as the ceremony will be outside. Thoughts?

Re: is this too 'homecoming' for a wedding? too fancy? (PIP)
My heart is as open as the sky.
Read about it on the blog
2 Corinthians 12:9 But he said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ's power may rest on me.
It's short
It comes right to knee-level.
I think the dress looks nice but I might consider different jewelry to make it look a little less homecoming- y.
Perhaps a "statement" necklace with large colored beads.
Thanks!
