Perhaps being stationed in Germany?

My husband is planning on reenlisting for Germany. He has been stationed there once as a single soldier so he understands a lot of what it is like over there, I am super stoked but I was wondering if any nesties had advice for me? It will be our first big move since we have been married (2 years) I am sure there will be a lot of adjusting to be done but I am a pretty open-minded person. Thanks for any tips!

Re: Perhaps being stationed in Germany?

  • I just left Wiesbaden.  I really loved Germany and was sad to leave. My husband however HATED his unit and couldn't wait to go on to the next duty station.  There are lots of things to do there.  The housing on post is like apartments.  There are usually 6 families in a building.  The base is also broken up into different sections. The PX is in one spot, the Commissary in another, the Power Zone is in another base.
