Hey May ladies! Just stoppping by to say good morning! what's the good word with you all? Anybody skipping work tomorrow to enjoy a long weekend?
I finally finished most of my thank you's, including one for my coworkers. I feel horrible that I waited 9 weeks. Oh well, ALMOST done.

I am finally seeing the light at the end of the tunnel with the thank you's....just a few more to go and they are ready to be mailed!
Unfortunatly I am not going to have a long weekend...only a 1 day weekend since I have to work Saturday for the catering company that I work for part time...ugh!
I'm looking forward to having next wed. off though, nothing planned, as of now, except for relaxing!!

No long weekend for me either. But it's no big deal bc hubby's away for work so I don't know what I would do anyway :-P Plus with the strict fire bans we can't even do fireworks
I just got a new bicycle so I'm riding up to the farmer's market with a friend of mine this weekend, that should be fun

I'm not taking Friday off but I am taking Monday off (for my birthday) and Tuesday off (because what's the point when I have Wed off too?) So I have a 5 day weekend! I'm excited!!
We still don't have our pictures/thank you cards from our photographer and it's KILLING ME!! I just want to get them done!!!
Morning ladies,
We have a long weekend because Canada day is Sunday so we have monday off. Originally we were going to go away (camping or to the cabin) but now its supposed to be cold and rainy all day on saturday, so we will probably work on the house, and then sunday go to all the festivities and fireworks in town.

I am taking tomorrow off, and we're going camping wit my bro and sis-in-law, and our total of 4 pups. H and I have one, and they have 3- He had one and she had 2 before they met. It's sure to be an adventure!
I heard it's supposed to be a beautiful weekend, so we're excited to get out and enjoy it! We've been talking about doing this forever!

I have one more thank you to write. Last week we got a box of hideous pottery that my aunt made that I can't even believe I will have to thank her for. Seriously- My bar is not that high for handmade gifts, but this stuff is grotesque. I know she's family, but it all went straight into the donate box. What kills me the most is that she CAN do some decent work- But it feels like the stuff she sent was stuff she couldn't sell, so she figured it would make a great gift.
Blargh!
Ugh, that stinks! We got some hideous purple bakeware (ordered on HSN) at our shower....its so ugly that I've decided to leave it at my parents house until I, for whatever reason, need to bring it out and use it!

Good afternoon!
I haven't started my TYs yet. I have the cards, but just haven't felt like writing them. I'm such a slacker!
I have to work tomorrow, and half a day Saturday. H's cousin, who was the best man, is turning 21, so his mom is throwing him some kind of extravaganza. Man, when I turned 21 I went to Applebees' and drank soda. That feels like forever ago (15 years to be exact!). Anyway. Sunday we are going to finish painting the house (trim and put up the shutters, which I painted last Sunday). I have Monday off, but not sure what I will do with myself. I do have Wednesday off, but we don't have any plans yet.
No work tomorrow, but only because I have to work Saturday from 8am-12pm. Boo!
Maybe this post is what I need to motivate myself to do the last 15 thank you cards!
Tomorrow our wedding will have been 8 weeks ago, and I just sent out our TYs on Tuesday... I read that you have up to two months AFTER you return from your HM. We didn't take one, but I know some of you ladies did. I sent out my BS TYs three days after so I felt I had more time for wedding ones
I am so glad it's the weekend!
